my search for the perfect black bag
As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, my push present to myself was a gorgeous black hobo bag. It holds all my essentials and then some, but I’ve been on the hunt for a smaller, more versatile black bag for awhile. My aforementioned closet purge led me to realize that all my vintage bags weren’t exactly practical, and I needed to part with more than a few of them (Mom- I still have all the ones you’ve generously passed on, don’t worry).
I ended up purchasing the small Bottega Andiamo. Andiamo means “let’s go”in Italian, making it an appropriate name for a structured tote that holds much more than a wallet and lipstick but can also be worn on date night (as soon as I remove my daughter’s pacifier and snacks).
Below, some street style snaps of the Andiamo (it comes in three sizes, btw). Bottega pink, aka “ribbon”, is stunning, and the campaign they did with A$AP Rocky is nothing short of genius (read about it here).
