links & loose ends, #6- trends I'm loving, a reader request, and house hunting?!
Saturday thoughts
Being thrown into house hunting during the last 5 weeks of pregnancy was not on my 2025 bingo card. Currently feeling all the stress. I know this is the best decision for our little family in the long-term, but I’m wiped! TBD on our timeline, but I’m hoping we can finalize something before my due date. Anyway, here’s the vintage Fendi tote I pulled out this week to put a little pep in my step. Love an unexpected color combo. Tried to find one for you and google came up with this Ref tote which I actually think would be a great work/travel bag?
Hero item in my wardrobe right now is this CJR striped dress. The colors make me so happy, and I’m always a fan of his designs. I wore this checked dress from him when I was officially one week past my due date 2.5 years ago!
Trend I’m Loving- Gathered Jackets
(left to right) — Dries Van Noten // Free People // Les Tien // Dries Van Noten // Fear of God // Loewe // AGOLDE
Something about a gathered hemline on a jacket (most notably spotted on the Dries and Loewe runways) feels so put together. The ruching on this one from FP movement is reminiscent of the $2k Prada one that seems to be on every editor’s moodboard.
Most popular in my DM’s this week:
I’ve never gotten so many link clicks on a pair of shoes! Believe it or not, these are Tory Burch. Very comfortable and now I want them in black.
Reader request: pregnancy wardrobe staples!
The boxiest white tee I could find
Baggy jeans- These were discounted on Net (found them on sale elsewhere for you, still a good price), and I realized I was wearing mine so much it would be sensible to buy an additional pair in a bigger size.
Tibi Winslow pants (in a size up from my usual, I get the ‘petite’ which just means shorter length)
Eterne sweats- Have said it before and I’ll say it again, these are top tier. Cozy, soft, stretchy and wash well. I’m sorry they’re not less $$, but IMO it’s better to invest than keep replacing cheap ones.
Re/Done tees- (super soft) currently popping out of mine at 34 weeks pregnant but great for first/second trimester bumps
FP Moxie Jeans- These are just great because they come in almost every color imaginable- I am partial to the camo but I also love the new floral pattern.
Beyond Yoga Maternity Jumpsuit
oversized coat - Highly recommend some type of oversized outerwear that you can throw on over everything. My favorite is vintage Jil Sander, purchased at the Current Affair show. It is absolutely massive but has become a security blanket of sorts. I love something lightweight like this for Spring.
Beauty Faves
Athena Club body wash- This was sent to me in PR and I love the scent! A nice, summery vibe.
111 skin eye gels- The only reason I’m looking even somewhat awake these days! These are magical.
Mandelic Acid serum- didn’t realize how much I relied on this until I ran out last week!
Micellar pads for my hospital bag (told my husband he needs to memorize my skincare routine before delivery, wish him luck).
Mixing the Westman Atelier tanning drops with my ILIA skin tint (IMO superior because it has SPF)
This week’s purchases-
Mostly summed up in Tuesday’s post here, also ended up purchasing this leopard crewneck! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, leopard is a neutral.
I’m eyeing this necklace, in honor of Aries season. These zodiac pendants are so fun.
xx, Liz
More Bad Influence…
recent buys & how I'm styling them
Have you been shopping lately, or feeling uninspired by the in-between weather? Spring is a fun time to experiment and refresh- even if that’s just a quick closet reorganization or a new button down. I wanted to share some recent finds as well as document my thought process around these purchases. None of these were impulse buys, because despite having …
I love this! I need those Tory flats, she is SO BACK.
I have the checkerboard CHR dress and the stripes in the other colorway! Love finding another squirrel!!
Those Tory shoes! No one has an eye like yours! 😘
