Liz's List: Everything I'm Loving

• a silk eye-mask that doesn’t crease my hair

• Buying kids clothes on TheRealReal - set up a saved search with ‘baby (insert luxury brand name here)’ - so many good finds and lots of stuff that’s still new with tags

• our new candle holders (trying to liven up the house before we host Thanksgiving)

• everything with an elastic waistband, specifically these jeans.

• a very clever reversible jacket.

• the whimsical world of Bode- specifically, this clutch

• a black Bottega bag that I swear is so different from the two crossbody bags I already own (just saying….@ my husband)

• color coding my closet- shoes, bags, everything (let the nesting phase begin!)

• the face mist that keeps my skin from feeling dry (in cooler temps, on cross country flights, etc.) combined with this tool that I like better than my gua sha

• the wearability of a black jumpsuit- yes, these are ideal for me right now because I have a bump BUT they’re so easy to throw on a black blazer and boot, or a cropped sweater and sneaker when you’re in a rush. (just ordered this one, non maternity version here & here)

• taxicab yellow- No idea why this color is so appealing right now it just IS, specifically in the form of this bag, these shorts, and a great pair of pumps.

• this slightly more wearable version of Marc Jacobs’ Kiki boots (most notably seen on Gaga and Cynthia Erivo!). Can’t wait for the looks I get when I wear these to my OB’s office.

• BOOKS- I bought The Wedding People last weekend, and I’ve never gotten so many story replies about a book! I am loving it so far.

• Saying no so I can say yes- This one is from my therapist. Politely declining stuff I don’t *really* want to do so I can ‘say yes’ to things that help me have more time to focus on myself, my daughter, family time, etc. Putting this into practice is tougher than it sounds but has been so good for my mental health.

• A glitter suitcase purely for the nostalgia factor. I like to think this is what 2024 Lizzie McGuire would use on her class trip to Italy and that Zenon definitely would have used the big blue one for her “grounding” to earth (if you haven’t seen either of those movies, they’re worth the Disney+ subscription)

• catching up on my favorite newsletters instead of mindlessly scrolling IG-

• the mini version of my favorite moisturizer- I said a few weeks ago I wished this existed and it turns out I just hadn’t looked hard enough. cannot wait to keep this in my bag.

• yummy scents- I haven’t pulled out my Christmas candles just yet, but this body wash makes me feel like I’m on vacation and this lip mask is so nice and light (but still effective), would make a great stocking stuffer.
