what I bought & what I wore
Hi friends! Wanted to share my January fits and what I purchased. It was, obviously, a weird month to document what I wore as we evacuated for 5 nights and lived in a state of paranoia even after we returned. My goal was to do weekly outfit posts BUT these pics are all I got. Praying for a more chill February but I am super pregnant with a two year old so I think that’s out of the question? Anyway! Here’s what I wore.
Outfit MVP’s- Dries jeans (majorly on sale here), Eterne sweats (pants here and crewneck here) black Re/Done tee, Jil Sander coat (vintage via James Veloria, similar for you here), Ganni beanie. Lexxola sunnies (similar here but this style is called the Lulu if you want to dig around). Levi’s baggy dad jeans.
Shoes: not pictured but wore these boots, Gucci slides or sneakers most days.
Takeaways- I am really utilizing my wardrobe right now because I don’t want to succumb to ugly maternity clothes. It’s been fun pulling out some “forgotten” pieces and styling them again (like the vintage red tee). I’ve purchased a few pairs of my favorite bottoms (these, these, and these) in sizes up and plan on getting them tailored postpartum. Most of my favorite outerwear is vintage. I love how beanies can change the mood of an outfit- feels like the final touch for me with many looks. Also, I am addicted to large black handbags- already knew this about myself but these photos are further proof.
Btw, this is a fun practice if you’re trying to decide where to put your $. In the past I never would have considered spending on casual, cotton pieces but since I wear them daily I now feel like it’s a worthy investment.
Purchased new:
CJR striped pants (last XS on super sale, purchased for postpartum)- got mine on FWRD, but found a size L here.

Secondhand:
The Real Real - Prada studded shoes (from saved searches, been trying to hunt down for years and had site credit), The Row Brown Shoulder bag (another dream purchase from saved searches), Celine flannel, Celine tee, Supreme x Hysteric Glamour crewneck (majorly marked down)
Miu Miu black silk hoodie via James Veloria (shops in NY and LA, but follow them on IG you can buy via their stories)
Takeaways: two pairs of black shoes, I’d argue that they’re different and one of them was big on my wishlist but STILL. Very pleased I found two items on my open to buy - a brown shoulder bag and a red bag (btw, the code FWRD10 worked for me to get 10% off on my Astra shoulder bag so keep that in mind if you’re looking at a big ticket item on there).
