I’m not a huge St. Patrick’s day girl, but I did live in Savannah (where St. Patrick’s day looks more like Mardi Gras) and marry someone with the very Irish last name McKay, so.….maybe I should be? I will be wearing green today, just in case, though I hope we are all past the days of pinching someone when they’re not. Admittedly my daughter will be in a much more on theme outfit (you can’t really be practical with toddler clothing, so why not embrace all the holidays?!)
The only green I’ve worn so far this week would be this canvas Prada bag. It holds so much and has three interior pockets. It didn’t come with the original strap so I just bought this one and it’s great! More on my real real shopping methods here.
shop my green picks: bunny artwork. green glass carafe. Nili Lotan pants. candle. Ralph’s hat. Adidas Sambas. Dorsey earrings. mixing bowl. Khaite raffia bag. Dorsey Kate bracelet. Dorsey James bracelet. Dries sweatshirt. Miu Miu sunglasses.
To me, green is a versatile color, even this Acne sweater that was a gift has been really easy to wear with jeans, shorts, or over a slip dress.
If statement making shades of green aren’t your thing, olive green is forecasted to be a big color for Fall/Winter 2024 as it was seen on the runways of Bottega and Burberry, among others. These pants are a nice way to introduce the color into your wardrobe, and a good substitute for denim when you feel like you’re in the all-too-familiar jeans and a tee rut. If you want an even more subtle approach, I will share this fancy embroidered Dries sweatshirt, which is at the top of my birthday list (less than a month away, but who’s counting?).
Personally, I think the spring weather (LA finally feels like LA again) has inspired my green kick. I got these sneakers, this bunny artwork, and two lovely emerald Dorsey pieces. I made a really nice stack with the James Bezel and Kate bracelets- fun! These earrings are on my wishlist because imagine them with a slicked back bun?! So good. Now I just have to learn how to do a slicked back bun (tips and tutorials welcome).
Okay, talk soon! I hope you treat yourself to a clover shaped cookie or a green juice, or both! As always, the comments and my DM’s are always open.
XO, Liz
I dislike green, but you make a compelling case
