My husband and I went to Miami last week for a quick 48-hour getaway. Here is everything I wore, linked - as well as some more fun stuff below.
Leopard maxi. Alaia le teckel bag. Celine sunnies.
Kith baby tee. Gucci jeans via TRR. Celine platforms (the price on these has gone up by $150 since I purchased, try secondhand sites, too). Bottega Andiamo.
Hunza G. bikini. Red tote (under $70!). Adidas shorts. Loewe hat.
Bode tank. white lace shorts. Miu Miu blazer, similar here. Dries heels (now on sale). Celine sunnies.
MM6 Margiela x Salomon sneaks. smiley socks.
also….
If you, like me, sometimes get the ‘nothing to wear’ feeling even though you definitely have more than a few somethings…. I highly suggest purchasing a clothing rack. No need for a big, fancy, industrial sized one (though if you have the room and want something durable, do it!). I bought this one (took all of 5 minutes to assemble) to hang some outfit ideas and a few purchases and it has already served me quite well.
I will be wearing these breezy, lightweight pants on my next two trips and probably to daycare drop-off, too. This face tint is a forever favorite (just restocked), there’s some amazing Dries pieces on sale here (still in mourning over his last show) and I got these fashion girl cargo-ish (heavy on the ish) shorts for chasing my daughter at the playground and maybe even with a heeled sandal and bodysuit for dinner.
Already picturing this halter dress with a raffia bag and sandals for a sweet summer evening look. The buttons up the back are a nice touch.
I was gifted the now seemingly viral Metacine products about 6 weeks ago and can tell you I think they’re great. My skin is noticeably clearer and brighter when I use them consistently.
On the more affordable skincare side, I was also sent some products by VERSED-my favorite is the cleansing balm (removes makeup instantly) and the resurfacing mask. Use LIZBESTMCKAY10 for a little discount on their products.
I’m heading out of town on two (potentially three) trips this summer and influenced myself to finally purchase the Away packing cubes mentioned in last week’s letter and the small toiletry bag for my carry-on tote. Packing cubes are something I was really unsure about until I tried them for myself. My first set was cheap and got lost in our move so I’m excited to try these, specifically because they’re designed for a carry-on suitcase and they’re see-through. Not an ad or sponsored, just love this brand and their products.
Haven’t purchased this, but just wanted to show you the current bag of my dreams. Isn’t she stunning?
I was lucky enough to meet up with
in Miami last week and she is just as cool, stylish and beautiful in person as she is online! We had a lovely time shopping at Veblen and I can’t wait to share my finds soon. And just for fun, some of my RealReal hearts….a fancy bag charm, a nylon tote in an iconic Prada print, brand new Prada joggers for 70% off retail, a classic Tom Ford mini dress, & some gorgeous red Manolo sandals.
The West Elm x Rhode collab is dreamy! A nice mix of preppy and boho and filled with some fun prints and practical homewares like this set of mugs. I got this doormat, a pillow, and printed sheets for our guest room.
My husband and I are in the process of furnishing our back deck (our last place had a much smaller outdoor space), but of course I really just want to buy this fancy outdoor candle and call it a day. Would much rather buy a new bag (or save $$) than purchase an outdoor sectional but I suppose we need something to sit on, right?
talk soon! xo, Liz
That red tote!! So good!
Love that you were able to meet up with the stylish Mrs. Solomon!! And I love that Loewe bag!! So fun.
